The privacy nightmare finally came true: Google Latitude
It took some time but finally my worst dreams came true: Google Latitude. Who can be so stupid that he's willing to share his current location with Google? What will be next? Download your movements from the last 20years as KML file?
Really, there are really cool web applications out there, but THIS one? Google Latitude? I met someone at the 25C3 who is programming this feature based on XMPP. This approach is decentralized and only your friends get your current location but not a company like Google.
Don't use this software. It will be evil!
